Damon Johnson has over 25 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting in both public and private entities.  As such, Damon’s experience will be a great match for your assisting your business with strategic growth.  Damon started his career as an Internal Auditor for the City of San Antonio. From there, Damon accepted an opportunity to join Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS) where he held various positions in the finance organization. 

During his tenure at Motorola, Damon was a key member of the Finance System Transformation Team that was responsible for implementing the SAP Finance system.  In addition, Damon held other leadership roles at Motorola where established and monitored performance of many KPI metrics through the company transition to Freescale Semiconductor.  It is during this tenure where he honed his financial modeling skills.  Eventually, Damon transitioned from Freescale Semiconductor to pursue new opportunities at Dell, Inc., where he also held roles in Manufacturing & Business Group Finance. 

During his tenure at Dell, Damon became Director of Finance for the End User Computing Group which oversaw financial support for a global finance team charged with fiscal oversight of $6B in consumer and client computing business along with two successful M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) projects aimed at enhancing the client product portfolio.  Upon departing from Dell, Damon entered the world of Finance and Accounting consulting which led him to take a position as the Vice President of Administration and Finance for Huston-Tillotson University. During this tenure, Damon was able to successfully implementing new financial, human resource and facilities, management processes while stabilizing and driving a fiscal turnaround

for the University.

Realizing his passion was to help others community, Damon just recently moved back into the area of Financial and Accounting consulting where his experience and expertise can help to promote the greater good for the community.  Damon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
